Questions

My 85 year old husband (non-smoker) was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma Stage IIIB on October 4th (2007).  He also has been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy for the past 4 years and his legs are numb from his toes to above his knees.  He has only received 2 dosages of Tarceva 150 mg so far (so no side effects yet).  He is still in the hospital with a chest tube draining his pleural fluid and will undergo the pleurodesis to prevent future fluid build-up.  He is weak, suffering shortness of breath, coughing up blood and has limited appetite.Thanks to this site, we have contacted Genentech Foundation at 888-249-4918 about financial support due to the cost of Tarceva, but will not know anything about the fun...
